Marsha Nicole Pillman Zamudio, known professionally as Nicole Pillman, born February 19, 1987 in Lima, Peru, is a Peruvian singer and songwriter. She received vocal training at the Museo de Arte de Lima and studied accounting at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. She achieved national recognition in 2008 as a semifinalist on the television competition Latin American Idol, where she finished at number 7. Her self-titled debut album, Nicole Pillman, was released in December 2009 and featured the single âEntre la espada y la paredâ, which was used as a soundtrack for the telenovelas La Lola and Corazón de fuego. Subsequent albums include Como nunca te han amado (2013), which produced the single âNo sabes nada del amorâ that reached Number 1 on the local charts, and MÃrame (2016), which featured the telenovela theme song âVen, baila, quinceañeraâ. She also released the Peruvian traditional music album Herencia (2017), the holiday album Navidad (2019), and the crowdfunded project Renacer (2020). In February 2019, she represented Peru as a semifinalist at the Viña del Mar International Song Festival with the song âUna misma sangreâ. She relocated to Florida in 2022.
