Biography

Nicholas Joseph Pitera, born on March 7, 1986 in Woodbury, Minnesota, is a singer and animator. He gained initial recognition for his extensive vocal range and unique feminine falsetto, notably demonstrated in his cover of "A Whole New World" from Aladdin, where he sang both Aladdin's and Jasmine's parts. Pitera released several EPs, including The Covers: Volume One (2010) and The Covers: Volume Two (2011), as well as his first original album, Stairwells in 2015. He also created notable medleys such as "One Man Disney Movie" (2011) and "One Man Phantom of the Opera" (2012). Pitera has collaborated with Pixar Studios, contributing to films like Inside Out, where he sang the "Triple Dent Gum Jingle". He was nominated for a VES Award in 2021 for his work on Onward and performed "TripleDent Gum Jingle" song with Andrea Datzman for Inside Out 2.
