Biography

The New Bomb Turks, an American punk rock band, were formed at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, United States, in 1990 by Jim Weber, Eric Davidson, Bill Randt, and Matt Reber. The band released their first EP, Drunk On Cock, in 1993. Crypt Records signed them, releasing albums such as !!Destroy-Oh-Boy!! and Information Highway Revisited. Epitaph Records later released LPs like Scared Straight and At Rope's End. Notable songs include "So Cool, So Clean, So Sparkling Clear" and "I Wanna Sleep". In 2010, Eric Davidson wrote a paperback chronicling the underground punk movement titled We Never Learn: The Gunk Punk Undergut, 1988-2001. As of 2005, the New Bomb Turks slowed down their touring and recording to pursue other interests.
