Biography
Japanese pop-rock band never young beach started out with two members in early 2014; Abe Yuma (vocals and guitar) and Matushima Akira (guitar). Three more members, Satoshi Anan (guitar), Keiko Tatsumi (bass) and Kento Suzuki (drums) joined later that year and the band was fully formed. Initially recording material at home, they soon grew to popularity with their blend of J-pop and American indie music. Founding member Akira left the band in 2018.
never young beach have played at many festivals in Japan and released their first album 'YASHINOKI HOUSE' in 2015. Their second album 'Fam Fam' followed in 2016 and then 'A Good Time' in 2017. The group went on tour following the release of 'A Good Time' and sold out 12 shows in 11 cities in 2017-18. Their second album 'Story' was released in 2019 and went straight in at number 14 on the Japanese albums chart.
