Japanese pop star n-buna created a string of successful albus and singles before forming the duo Yorushika alongside a female singer suis. He enjoyed solo success with tracks like 2012âs âAlice Trustâ and 2013âs âTÅmei Elegyâ that he released on the website Niconico. His style is defined heavily by his use of vocaloid, a synthesizer that allows him to manipulate his voice into different sounds and textures. His debut album, 2014âs KÄtenkÅruga Yamumaeni, was followed by his major-label debut, 2015âs Hanato Mizuame, SaishÅ«densha. After 2016âs Tsukio Aruiteru he brought his guitar playing and production skills to Yorushika in 2017, laying down the sonic textures that support suisâ often emotional vocal delivery. They released three successive top five albums in Japan, Dakara Boku wa Ongaku wo Yameta and Elma in 2019, as well as 2020âs Plagiarism.
