Nani Giorgis asuli Bregvadze, born on July 21, 1936 in Tbilisi, Georgian SSR, Soviet Union, is a Georgian and Soviet singer, pianist, and music pedagogue. She gained widespread popularity during the 1957 6th World Festival of Youth and Students. Bregvadze's early work included performances with the Georgian music group VIA Orera and as a solo artist. Notable albums include ÐÐ¾ÐµÑ Ðани ÐÑегвадзе (1969) and Ðани ÐÑегвадзе (1974). Bregvadze performed numerous Russian and Gypsy romances, earning the title of People's Artist of the USSR in 1983.
