Biography

Nancy Elizabeth Cunliffe, born Nancy Elizabeth on December 5, 1983, in Billinge Higher End, near Wigan, Greater Manchester, England, is a British folk singer-songwriter. She learned piano and guitar at an early age, with the latter being self-taught. By 18, she had released her first EP, Basis, and LP, Fly Alley. Cunliffe's debut single "Hey Son" was released in 2007. Her first EP under The Leaf Label, The Wheel Turning King, was released in 2006. In 2007, her first LP with The Leaf Label, Battle and Victory, received critical acclaim. Cunliffe's next album, Wrought Iron, was released in 2009 and featured the single "Feet of Courage". Her third album under Leaf, Dancing, was released in May 2013 and included the single "The Last Battle".
