Biography
Nachtblut is a German dark metal band from Osnabrück, founded in 2005. The current line-up consists of singer Askeroth, bassist AblaZ, guitarist Greif and drummer Skoll. Former members include keyboardist Aeshkalia and bassist Sacerdos. The band self-released their debut album Das Erste Abendmahl in 2007. This was followed by Antik in 2009, which was re-released with bonus material by Napalm Records in 2011. With Dogma (2012) and Chimonas (2014), Nachtblut cemented their place in the dark metal scene. The fifth album Apostasie (2017) reached number 41 in the German album charts. Vanitas (2020) entered at number 19. On February 21, 2025, the seventh album Todschick was released, which reached number 11 in the German album charts.
