Biography

Zoltán Mujahid, born on August 8, 1979 in Karachi, Pakistan, is a Pakistani-Hungarian singer. He began his musical journey studying South Asian music in Karachi before moving to Budapest with his family at age 11. In Hungary, he learned Hungarian and classical piano, eventually enrolling in the Petőfi Musical Studio and later graduating from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music. His breakthrough came in 2003 when he placed in the top ten of the first series of Megasztár, a popular singing competition. Zoltán participated in A Dal 2015, the Hungarian national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, with his song "Beside You." He progressed to the final but was not selected by televote to represent Hungary at the contest. His debut album, Első vallomás, was released in2005. Other notable singles include "Első hó" (2008), "Túlélő" (2010), and "On My Own" (2016).
