Corey Smith, known as Mr. Serv-On, is an American rapper born on September 18, 1969, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He began his music career as a high school friend of Master P and became one of the first rappers signed to No Limit Records. His debut appearance was on Soulja Slim's album Soulja fa Lyfe (1994). Mr. Serv-On released his debut studio album, Life Insurance (1997), which peaked at number 23 on the US charts and number 5 on the R&B charts. His second album, Da Next Level (1999), achieved greater commercial success, reaching Number 1 on the R&B charts and selling 297,000 copies in its first week.
