Morning 40 Federation was a rock band from New Orleans, Louisiana, formed in 1998. Drawing influences from early jazz, blues, and alternative rock, the group released their debut album You My Brother in 2000, followed by Trick Nasty in 2002. Their self-titled third album, Morning 40 Federation, was released in 2004, and was followed by Ticonderoga in 2006. After a period of reduced activity, the band reunited for select performances in New Orleans in the late 2000s and early 2010s. Morning 40 Federation played their final concert in November 2018.
