Biography

Emulating Masters at Work or Dimitri from Paris, French producer Gilles Paulet delivers a rereading of seventies disco funk. Under the moniker Moonshoes, he releases the track "Boogieland", associated with images from the American TV show Soul Train. The vintage choreography of the legendary show fits in perfectly with his current retelling of this golden period. The tracks "In Moonshoes" and "Everybody", available on Moonshoes' MySpace page, show the care he takes in his homage to a period that is more than just clichés.
