Real name Milan Kanche-Daudin, the pop artist known as Miel de Montagne is the son of Marcel Kance, lyricist and musician, collaborator with Vanessa Paradis, -M- and Alain Bashung, among others. Born in the Paris region on March 10, 1994, Kanche fils began his career as a DJ, before moving to the countryside to compose his new project, Miel de Montagne, a mix of electro and pop songs with offbeat lyrics, named after a jar given to him by his uncle, a beekeeper. As a result, Miel de Montagne recorded the Petit Garçon EP (2018), followed by the albums Miel de Montagne (2019), Tout Autour de Nous (2022) and Ouin Ouin (2025).
