Biography

Michael Cassette is a Finnish electronic music duo formed in 2007, best known for helping to define the original sound of the Anjunadeep label through a blend of progressive house, melodic house, synthwave, and Balearic influences. The project gained international recognition with tracks such as âShadowâs Movementâ (2007) and âZeppelinâ, as well as with its acclaimed debut album, Temporarity (2010)âwhich was only the second artist album released by Anjunadeep. This album featured standout tracks such as âGhost in the Machineâ, âCrockettâs Themeâ, and âShadowâs Movementâ. After a long hiatus, Michael Cassette made his return to the stage at the Anjunadeep Explorations event in 2023 and resumed releasing new tracks with the EP Promenade (2025), followed by the EP When You're in Love (2026) and the single âMountain Dewâ.
