Memo Garza, born Guillermo Garza CantÃº on March 2, 1988, in Cadereyta JimÃ©nez, Nuevo LeÃ³n, is a Mexican singer-songwriter who first became widely known as a vocalist for La Adictiva, the banda he joined in 2013 after the departure of Claudio Alcaraz. During that period, he helped front one of the groupâs strongest commercial runs, with songs such as âDespuÃ©s de Ti, Â¿QuiÃ©n?,â âTe DirÃ¡n,â and âUn Hombre Libreâ becoming closely tied to his voice in modern banda. In 2023, after roughly a decade with La Adictiva, he left the group and began a solo phase. That next chapter took shape through a steady sequence of singles, beginning with releases such as âMÃ¡ndame La Ubi,â before expanding in 2025 with songs including âChuladaâ with Luis R Conriquez, âOficialmente,â âLa Vida Que Elegiste No Tener,â and âConvÃ©ncete.â In 2026, he continued with âTu Traumaâ and âMÃ¡ndame La Ubi,â building a solo catalog that stayed rooted in regional Mexican music while moving between banda, norteÃ±o-pop, and romantic grupero material.
