Biography

Known for his participation in the group 883, Max Pezzali, real name Massimo Pezzali, is an Italian songwriter, composer, musician and performer born in Pavia on November 14, 1967. As a member of the Lombardy group he formed with Mauro Repetto in 1989, Max Pezzali enjoyed success with a style that blended pop, rock and rap. After the departure of his comrade in 1994, he took over sole control of 883, employing studio musicians to produce albums that were among the best-selling in the country. After disbanding in 2003, Pezzali pursued his own career with the albums Il Mondo insieme a te (2004), Time Out (2007) and Terraferma (2011). In 2012, he delivered an updated version of 883's debut album, Hanno ucciso l'Uomo Ragno 2012, this time surrounded by artists such as J-Ax, Emis Killa, Two Fingerz, Club Dogo, Fedez, Baby K, Dargen D'Amico, Ensi and Entics. He repeated the experience in 2013 with Max 20. In 2015, for Astronave Max, the singer surrounds himself with musicians like multi-instrumentalist and producer Davide Ferreiro, also at work on Qualcosa di nuovo (2020), featuring J-Ax, Tormento and GionnyScandal. In 2024, single "Discoteche abbandonate", an unreleased track, announces the release of the Max Forever Vol. 1 compilation.
