Biography

Max McNown is a country singer-songwriter born in Bend, Oregon, on 2001, whose authentic storytelling and sound blend traditional country roots with contemporary influences. He began releasing music within a year of teaching himself to play the guitar, delivering a breakout track and EP of the same name, "A Lot More Free," in 2023, which garnered attention on social media and enabled him to advance with his career. He has continued to build on his style with subsequent singles and EPs such as Love I Got Left (2023), "Love Me Back," "Macbeth,", "Fishing Line", and his debut album Wandering, which were all released in 2024. That same year, he consolidated his sound with the release of the EP Willfully Blind, which contained acoustic versions of "Snowman" and "Willfully Blind". A new series of singles appeared the same year, such as "Hotel Bible", "Better Me for You (Brown Eyes)", and "Roses and Wolves" with Hailey Witters, in order to be included in his sophomore album Night Diving (2025).
