Biography

Matisse & Sadko is a Russian DJ duo consisting of the two brothers Alexander and Yury Parkhomenko, who were both active as solo artists before founding their joint project in 2010. They released their debut single "Svenska" in 2011, as well as the song "Hi Scandinavia", which earned them a place in various dance charts for the first time. in 2013, they released the single "SLVR" together with Swedish DJ and producer Steve Angello, which was followed by a number of other releases. In 2014, they produced the song "Dragon" with Dutch DJ Martin Garrix, followed by the EP Break Through the Silence in 2015. Matisse & Sadko produced the official anthem "Go!" for the 2016 Ice Hockey World Championship. After further collaborations with Martin Garrix, a remix of "Dreamer" by Axwell Λ Ingrosso was released at the end of 2017, which became a commercial success. A year later, Martin Garrix released the song "High on Life", for which Matisse & Sadko assisted him with songwriting and production. It reached the singles charts in many European countries and number 16 in the US Billboard dance charts. Further singles and collaborations followed, such as 2020's "Best Thing" with Matluck and 2021's "Heal Me" with Alex Aris.
