Biography

Masta Wu, born Woo Jin-won on October 25, 1978, in Seoul, South Korea, is a Korean rapper and producer. He began his music career in the early 2000s under YG Entertainment, one of South Korea's leading entertainment companies. Masta Wu gained recognition with his debut album Masta Peace in 2003, followed by Mass Wu Part 2 in 2007. Some of his popular songs include "Come Here" featuring Dok2 and Bobby. Over the years, Masta Wu has contributed to numerous collaborations and projects, influencing the growth of hip-hop in Korea. He is known for his distinctive style and has been a mentor figure within YG Entertainment, helping to shape the careers of younger artists.
