Biography

Martin Stadtfeld, born in 1980 in Koblenz, Germany, is a German pianist. He gave his concert debut at age nine. At 14, he enrolled at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts under the tutelage of Lev Natochenny. Stadtfeld's career launched with his debut album Goldberg-Variationen by Johann Sebastian Bach in 2003, which topped the German classical charts. He signed with Sony Music Entertainment and released notable albums including Bach Pur, Deutsche Romantik, and Wie schön leuchtet der Morgenstern – Der junge Bach. He is an Echo Klassik award winner. In 2023, he began teaching as a professor at the Hochschule für Künste Bremen.
