Biography

Markus Lasanen, known professionally as Marcus Maison, was born in Oulu, North Ostrobothnia, Finland, and began his career as a DJ and producer. His early releases, "In the Horizon" (November 2010) and "Road to Euphoria" (February 2011), established his presence in the electronic scene. Maison formed the duo Maison & Dragen with Will Dragen and collaborating with British vocalist Mandi Fisher on "No More Lies" and "I'm So Excited" (July 2020), which reached Number One on the UK Amazon dance chart and Number Three on the Finnish iTunes dance chart. He has remixed tracks for Sia, Floâ¯Rida, Kelly Clarkson, W&W, Arminâ¯vanâ¯Buuren, Paulâ¯Oakenfold, and Martinâ¯Solveig. He followed up with singles "Avatar" (January 2025), "Hurricane" (April 2025), and "Defineâ¯Myself" (December 2025), which reached number 28 on UK's Official Singles Sales chart.
