Marco Sfogli (born April 4, 1980) is an Italian progressive metal and rock guitarist, composer, and engineer from Naples. After studying drums in 1992, Sfogli returned to the guitar in 1996, influenced by Michael Jackson, Van Halen, and Dream Theater. He established his professional career in 2005 by recording the album Elements of Persuasion with James LaBrie. Sfogliâs solo discography featured the albums There's Hope (2008), reMarcoble (2012), Homeland (2019), and Welcome to Ooglyworld (2023). Between 2015 and 2024, Sfogli served as the guitarist for Premiata Forneria Marconi (PFM), performing on the albums Emotional Tattoos (2017) and I Dreamed of Electric Sheep (2021). He co-founded the group Icefish, releasing the album Human Hardware in 2017. Sfogli collaborated with Jordan Rudess, Virgil Donati, and John Macaluso. He developed signature guitar models with Ibanez and Charvel.
