Manu Delago, born on July 31, 1984, in Innsbruck, Tyrol, Austria, is an Austrian musician and composer. He started with accordion and piano lessons as a child, later playing drums for rock bands. In 2003, Delago began using the Hang as one of his main musical instruments. After studying at the Mozarteum in Innsbruck and the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London, he released his debut album Handmade (2007). Delago collaborated with artists such as Björk and Anoushka Shankar, and performed at venues including the Royal Albert Hall and Carnegie Hall. He released the award-winning album and film Parasol Peak (2018). He launched carbon-neutral tours in 2021 and 2023.
