Mansions on the Moon was an American electronic and indie rock band from Los Angeles that was active between 2010 and 2017. The ensemble was founded by Ted Wendler, Ben Hazlegrove, and Lane Shaw. They achieved professional recognition with their debut mixtape, Paradise Falls (2010), and are famous for the EP Lightyears (2012), which was executive produced by Pharrell Williams. Their discography includes the EP Full Moon (2013) and the eponymous studio album Mansions on the Moon (2014). The ensemble produced the track âPA Nightsâ (2011) for the Mac Miller album Blue Slide Park and released official remixes for artists including Foster the People and Zee Avi. The group disbanded in 2017.
