Biography
Indie electronic trio Mansionair was formed in Sydney, Australia in 2014 by producers and multi-instrumentalists Jack Froggatt, Lachlan Bostock, and Alex Nicholls. Signed to well-respected US label Glassnote Records (also home to Mumford & Sons and Phoenix), they released "Pick Me Up" in 2015. The group landed their breakthrough single the following year with "Easier," which struck gold in Australia and earned them a more substantial following. They enjoyed success further afield with the release of "Astronaut â Something About Your Love," which hit Number 44 on the Billboard Rock Airplay charts the following year, and "Line of Sight," their collaboration with Odesza and WYNNE, which made it onto the US Alternative Songs and Dance/Electronic Songs chart. After putting out a trio of singles in 2018 â "Violet City," "Technicolour" and "Falling" â 2019 marked the release of Mansionair's debut album, Shadowboxer, which went to Number 37 in Australia. "Guillotine" featuring NoMBe followed in 2020.
