Biography

Alessandro Mannarino, born on August 23, 1979 in Rome, Italy, is an Italian singer-songwriter. He began his artistic career in 2001 with his participation in the theatrical work Roma di notte and gained significant recognition in 2009 with his debut album Bar della rabbia, released by Leave Music and distributed by Universal Music. The album won the Premio Giorgio Gaber and was a finalist for the Targa Tenco award in the Album emergenti - Opera prima category, achieving gold certification and eventually double platinum by FIMI. Mannarino followed up with Supersantos in 2011, which included the beloved song "Vivere la vita," and Al monte in 2014, both certified gold by FIMI. His 2017 album Apriti cielo, released on January 13, debuted at Number 1 on the FIMI Album chart and was certified gold by July of that year. Mannarino has also composed soundtracks for films, including Tutti Contro Tutti (2013), and collaborated with other artists, including Samuel from Subsonica on the single "Ultra Pharum" in 2018.
