Biography

Manabu Miyahara (born February 28, 1967 in Toyama Prefecture) is a rock-based guitarist and singer-songwriter who made his record debut on June 21, 1986 with the single "THE FIGHT", followed by the albums "READY STEADY GO" (1986), "RUSH! (1986) and "SCRAMBLE" (1988). His representative songs include "FOUR-ROUND BOY" (1987), "WITHOUT YOU" (1987), "GET READY" (1988), "JAPAN" (2012), etc. He also wrote "JUST LIKE RAIN" (1989), the theme song for the TBS period drama "Sakamoto Ryoma". In 2016, he released his 30th anniversary album "I, MANABU MIYAHARA" and has received high acclaim for his musical activities and diverse band participation over the years.
