Mac Ayres, born Maclean Daniel Ayres on December 6, 1996 in Sea Cliff, New York, is an American R&B singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. Music career beginnings include singing in choral groups such as the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra and the North Shore High School Madrigals. Ayres released the debut EP I Know Enough in 2016, followed by the EP Drive Slow in 2017. After attending the Berklee College of Music from 2014 to 2017, Ayres withdrew to focus on a professional music career. The debut studio album, Something to Feel, was released in 2018, featuring the single âGet to You Againâ. Subsequent albums include Juicebox (2019) and Comfortable Enough (2023), alongside the EP Magic 8Ball (2021). In November 2024, Ayres released the compilation album Cloudy, which compiled loose tracks from the artist's early career.
