Biography
Rap and dance have long crossed paths, with rappers participating in dance tracks. American rapper Lumidee's club-sounding rap debut in 2003 included the hit "Never Leave You (Uh Ooh, Uh Ooh)" and the album Almost Famous. In 2006, she was back in the news with a guest appearance on Fatman Scoop's "Dance! In 2007, Lumidee resurfaced with the hit "Crazy " with Pitbull, while the album Unexpected met with moderate success. Now better known in Europe than in the U.S., Lumidee released a new version of "Crazy" in 2013.
