The poet Andrée Chedid, who passed away four years ago, would surely have been delighted to see the Chedid clan, proudly led by her son Louis, take to the road in 2015. In his luggage were his children, Matthieu, Anna and Joseph, all of whom breathed music from every pore of their skin. While Matthieu Chedid alais - M - has the most impressive track record, with a plethora of albums and awards to his credit, Anna released her first album under the name Nach in 2015, while Joseph preceded her with his inaugural collection, Maison Rock, under the name Selim. Eager to materialize their family vocation in the form of a joint tour, they therefore set off in concert over the course of 2015, building their show around a shared repertoire that would see them revisit the hits of Louis Chedid and Matthieu Chedid primarily, but ensuring that each of their voices could be heard. In between dates, and to immortalize these shared memories, they recorded an album of youthful freshness, soberly entitled Louis, Matthieu, Joseph & Anna Chedid.
