Biography

Los Strwck was a Mexican rock and roll, banda, and cumbia ensemble from Guadalajara, Jalisco, formed in 1966. The group was led by Elbert Moguel (vocals, composer) alongside Carlos “El Fender” Robles, Adalberto Rivera, Miguel Flores Preciado, and Domingo Lomelí. Their initial recordings were released through Discos Caleidofón and Discos AZA. Early releases included the songs "Rompiendo Corazones" (1966) and "La Doctoriza" (1969). In 1970, the band issued "Un Sueño", a composition by Moguel that reached Number 1 on popularity charts in 1973 when covered by La Tropa Loca. After joining Discos Melody in 1974, the group released songs such as "Adiós Amigo" and "Linda Chiquilla". Their track "Quién" (1979) was composed by Ricardo Javier Enciso Gómez and featured lead vocalist Indalecio Anaya. In April 2010, the ensemble performed at the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City.
