Biography

Los Mismos was a Spanish pop group consisting of Elena Vázquez Minguela (Helena Bianco), Antonio Pérez Gutiérrez, and Benjamín Santos Calonge. Initially known as Los Jollys under Columbia Records, they achieved early success with “Supercalifragilisticoespialidoso”, a Spanish version of the song from Mary Poppins. In 1968, they changed their name to Los Mismos and signed with Belter, releasing their breakthrough hit “El puente”. The group disbanded in 1980. Helena Bianco pursued a solo career under the name "Jara" and later as Helena Bianco. Los Mismos reunited in 1996 with Guillermo replacing Antonio Pérez Gutiérrez and continued until 2012, releasing albums such as Juntos Para Siempre (1996) and Romances (2013).
