Los Mier, a Mexican group formed in 1980 in El Cercado, Nuevo León, is a family band composed of brothers and cousins who rose to prominence with their romantic grupero hits. Initially named Grupo Armonía, the band achieved widespread recognition after adopting their current name, releasing memorable tracks like "Muñeca de ojos de miel," "Dulcemente enamorada," and "Coloreteada." Over the years, they have produced iconic albums such as Dedicado a Ti (1995), Amigos y Mujeres (1997), and Recordando Nuestras Canciones (2000), which included re-recordings of some of their biggest hit singles. Known for their romantic lyrics and upbeat melodies, songs like "Te amo," "El cien pies," and "Sigo pensando en ti" became staples of their repertoire, garnering millions of views online. Los Mier have toured extensively across Latin America, including Argentina and Paraguay, solidifying their reputation as pioneers of the regional Mexican genre.
