Biography
Los Iberos, a Spanish rock band from Torremolinos, Málaga, formed in 1966. The group consisted of Enrique Lozano on lead guitar and vocals, Adolfo RodrÃguez on rhythm guitar and backing vocals, Cristóbal de Haro on bass and backing vocals, and Diego Cascado Sepúlveda on drums. They moved to Madrid and quickly gained popularity in the local rock scene. The band achieved significant chart success between 1968 and 1970 with hits like "Nighttime", "Liar, Liar", and "Fantastic Girl". They signed with Columbia Records and released their debut album Los Iberos in 1969, which included notable songs such as "Summertime Girl" and "Las tres de la noche". A car accident in 1973 involving Lozano and the death of the driver further impacted the band. Members Cristóbal de Haro and Diego Cascado left for mandatory military service, leading to the band's dissolution later that year.
