Biography

Lonewolf, a heavy metal band from Sassenage, France, was formed in 1992 by Jens BÃ¶rner and Walkyr. Initially known as Walpurgis Night, they changed their name to Lonewolf the following year, inspired by Running Wild's album Blazon Stone. The group released The Dark Throne (1992), The Calling (1993), and "Holy Evil" (1995) before disbanding in 1996. Despite a setback with an unreleased album due to a bad contract, Lonewolf returned in 2000 with the self-produced CD March into the Arena (2001) and signed with Goimusic. Their subsequent albums include Unholy Paradise (2003), Made in Hell (2008), and The Dark Crusade (2009). Lonewolf gained international recognition, performing at the Heavy Metal Holocaust in Athens and opening Grave Digger. They also collaborated with artists including Paul Di'Anno and Sabaton.
