Ljupka Dimitrovska, born on July 25, 1946, in Skopje, was a Macedonian-born Croatian singer. Her career began with the release of her first EPs, Moj Slatki Grad and Zum, Zum, Zum, both released in 1968. Dimitrovska gained significant popularity across the West Balkans, former Czechoslovakia, and East Germany, particularly during the 1970s and 1980s. Her notable albums include Ljupka (1975), Wenn Musik Erklingt - Ein Ljupka Dimitrovska Portrait (1975), and collaborations with Ivica Å erfezi, such as U dvoje je ljepÅ¡e (1980). Her song "ObeÄanje" was covered by Turkish artists like Åenay and Emel MüftüoÄlu. She passed away on October 3, 2016, in Zagreb.
