Biography

A French piano revelation, Lise de la Salle (born 1988 in Cherbourg) gave her first concert at the age of nine and went on to win several prizes in a row. Trained at the Conservatoire Supérieur de Paris, she brought out her first Rachmaninov-Ravel recital at the age of fourteen, and a Bach-Liszt acclaimed by Gramophone magazine. In between appearances at major festivals, the pianist, signed exclusively by Naïve, records albums in which her art of nuance shines through. 2011 sees the release of a CD devoted to Liszt, one of her favorite composers.
