Biography

Lisa Papineau is an American musician and songwriter. After studying performance and theatre in New York, she relocated to Los Angeles, where she coâfounded the project Pet with Tyler Bates. In 2000, she launched Big Sir with bassist Juan Alderete, releasing Big Sir (2000) and Now That's What I Call (2001). Her first solo album, Night Moves was released in 2005, followed by Red Trees (2009). She has also collaborated with Air, M83, and Jun Miyake.
