Biography
The metal band Lindemann is a duo comprised of vocalist Till Lindemann from the German heavy metal band Rammstein and multi-instrumentalist Peter Tägtgren from the Swedish heavy metal band Hypocrisy. The pair met 15 years prior to the formation of the band and instantly formed a friendship and an informal songwriting partnership. Eventually, after pursuing successful careers in their respective bands, the duo began to formalise their relationship and launched their new project. In 2015 they released their debut album as a duo, the critically-acclaimed 'Skills in Pills'. Vocalist Lindemann, who has his origins in East Germany, had historically sung in his native language, but for the debut album of Lindemann he sang in English. The album was a success throughout northern Europe reaching number one in the German and Finnish charts. Their second album, 'F&M', was released in 2019 along with the announcement of a tour for 2020.
