Biography
Limbonic Art is a Norwegian symphonic black metal band from Sandefjord formed in 1993. Founded by Daemon, the original line-up featured three other members, but Daemon got in touch with Morfeus to form a duo after the initial line-up's demise. In 1996, they released their debut album Moon in the Scorpio (1996) through Nocturnal Art Productions after signing with Samoth from Emperor. Their second album, In Abhorrence Dementia (1997), was recorded in a friendâs studio. Following this, they re-recorded songs from their promo cassette for the third album Epitome of Illusions (1998). In 1999, they released Ad Noctum - Dynasty of Death (1999). They released the album The Ultimate Death Worship (2002) before disbanding in 2003. They reunited in 2006, releasing Legacy of Evil (2007), Phantasmagoria (2010), Spectre Abysm (2017), and Opus Daemoniacal (2024).
