Biography
A performer of R&B and soul, Levelle is also known by the diminutive LB. Originally from Kansas City, he grew up in a gospel family of musicians and singers, and made his debut in the church choir, where his powerful voice was already being noticed. Influenced by the great voices of soul and R&B, he embarked on a musical career, sharing the stage with artists such as Charlie Wilson, Anthony Hamilton, Robin Thicke, Frankie Beverly and the group Maze. The recording of his first solo album, My Journey Continues, begun before the Covid-19 pandemic and released afterwards in 2022, aroused great interest and garnered seven million listens, while the duet "Fell in Love" with Anthony Hamilton reached No. 11 in the R&B charts. The following year, his success was confirmed with the album Promise to Love and the hit "Always" (No. 29 in the R&B charts). In 2024, the singer maintained his momentum with the album Love Story and the single "Right Here" (#30).
