Biography

Les Parfaits Salauds is a Quebec rock band founded in 1985, featuring François Duranleau, Jean-François Cardinal, Luc Thibodeau, Rémy Caset and Richard Lacoste. In 1989, they took part in Radio-Canada's Rock Envol competition. The following year, they released their first album, À Coeur Ouvert . The songs " 200 jours " and " Le Dernier train " reach the top 10 of Quebec radio charts. That same year, the band took part in the FrancoFolies de Montréal, and were invited to perform at the Francofolies de La Rochelle in 1991. Their second opus, Sans Faire de Bruit , followed in 1992, with the title track and the song " Claire " achieving success in Quebec. Before recording their third album, Constat À l'Amiable, in 1995, Luc Thibodeau was replaced by Patrick Coiteux. Les Parfaits Salauds' career came to an end on December 31, 1996, at the Spectrum in Montreal, when he performed with Plume Latraverse at the last show of his La Grande Saloplumerie tour. The group took a break of almost 10 years, returning under the name Rémy et les Salauds in 2007 and 2008.
