Biography

Formed in 1982 near Lille, the French rock band Les Innocents left their mark on the second half of the 1980s with their joyful, sophisticated music, featured on the hits "Jodie " and "L'Autre Finistère", and the album Fous à Lier (1992). The quartet, led by JP Nataf and Jean-Christophe Urbain, made a name for themselves at the Victoires de la Musique awards, where they won "Group of the Year " four times , in 1993, 1994, 1996 and 1997. After the success of their albums Post-Partum (1995) and Les Innocents (1999), the story ended with a painful separation, followed by a series of new trio and duo ventures. 2015 saw the return of Les Innocents with the album Mandarine, followed four years later by 6 1/2, in the same duo configuration featuring JP Nataf and Jean-Christophe Urbain.
