Biography
Lemoncello is an Irish contemporary folk duo consisting of Laura Quirke (guitar, vocals) and Claire Kinsella (cello, vocals). Formed in 2018 in Maynooth, County Kildare, the duo has made a name for itself with its intimate âchamber folk,â blending traditional Irish influences, modern songwriting, and classical textures. In 2018, they released their first independent three-track EP, *Stuck Upon the Staircase*, followed by *Oil and Water* in 2020. In 2024, the single âOld Friendâ heralded the release of their self-titled debut album on the Dublin-based label Claddagh Records. This was followed in 2026 by *Perfect Place*, preceded by the single âMeet Me Half Way.â
