Biography

Reika Miku (born December 12, 1983 in Tokyo) is a Japanese former singer who made her debut in 1998 at the age of 14 with the single "Umi to Kimi no Monogatari" (Sea and Your Story), co-produced by Tetsuya Komuro and Koji Kubo and released on November 4, 1998. The song was used as the theme song for Fuji Television's monthly 9 drama "Jinbei" and sold over 300,000 copies. She made her first appearance on "Music Station" in December 1998, and disappeared from the stage after a special appearance on New Year's Day 1999. In March 1999, he released the album "Umi to Kimi no Monogatari Tachi" (The Sea and Your Stories), but he ended his career without any official announcement of his retirement. Their actual activity was extremely short, lasting only about four months, and their existence has been passed down through the generations as a unique example in the history of 90s J-POP.
