Biography
Lastlings, an electronic pop band from Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia, was formed in 2015 by siblings Amy and Josh Dowdle. The duo began their musical journey while Amy was still in high school, with Josh studying biomedical science and working in fashion. Their initial releases included the EP Verses (2017) and the album UNREALITY (2016). Lastlings gained significant traction with the single "Deja Vu" and its Luke Alessi remix, which received high rotation on triple j. They supported Rüfüs Du Sol o on Australian tours in 2017 and 2019, as well as on their United States tour. In 2020, they released their second studio album First Contact. The duo's third studio album, Perfect World, was released in June 2023. Lastlings have performed at major festivals such as Coachella, Spilt Milk, Splendour in the Grass, and The Plot.
