LaRue was an American Christian pop duo originally from Phoenix, Arizona. Formed in 1999, the ensemble consisted of the siblings Phillip and Natalie LaRue. The duo released its debut single, âWaiting Roomâ, in 1999 through the label Reunion Records. This was followed in 2000 by their eponymous debut studio album, LaRue. Their recording history also included the studio albums Transparent (2001) and Reaching (2002), the latter of which was characterized by an alternative rock musical style. During its career, the group performed on the Transform Tour alongside the musicians Rebecca St. James and Tree63. The ensemble disbanded in 2003 for family reasons. Both members subsequently established solo musical careers, with Phillip LaRue issuing the studio recording Let The Road Pave Itself (2009) and Natalie LaRue releasing the EP Even Now (2012).
