Biography

Larry Tee, born October 12, 1959 in Seattle, Washington, is an American DJ, club promoter, and music producer. He began his career in Atlanta during the early 1980s and moved to New York City in 1986, becoming involved with the Club Kids scene through his party, Love Machine. Tee co-wrote RuPaul’s top 40 hit "Supermodel (You Better Work)" (1992). During the early 2000s, he curated the electroclash scene in New York, trademarking the term "electroclash" and coordinating the 2001 Electroclash Festival. Notable releases include the album Club Badd (2009) and the single "Let's Make Nasty" (2010) with Roxy Cottontail. Tee collaborated with artists such as Afrojack, Shontelle, and Steve Aoki.
