Biography
Lanfear, a power metal band from Germany, was formed in 1993. The group's early efforts included recording a self-titled demo tape in the summer of 1994. Lanfear released their debut album Towers in 1996, initially as an independent release and later re-released under Urwerk Records as Towers of February. Their second album, Zero Poems, was well-received by critics upon its release in 1999. In 2003, Lanfear released The Art Effect followed by Another Golden Rage in 2005. The band's fifth studio album, X to the Power of Ten, was released in 2008 and their sixth, This Harmonic Consonance, in 2012. Lanfear's final album, The Code Inherited, was released in 2016. After a successful career spanning over two decades, Lanfear announced their disbandment in 2020.
