Biography
Seventh Wonder, a Swedish progressive metal band from Stockholm, was formed in 2000 by bassist Andreas Blomqvist, guitarist Johan Liefvendahl, and drummer Johnny Sandin. The group released two demos, Seventh Wonder in 2001 and Temple in the Storm in 2003, which received critical acclaim. In 2005, Seventh Wonder signed with Lion Music and released their debut album, Become, featuring Andi Kravljaca on vocals. Shortly after, Tommy Karevik joined as the lead vocalist, just before the release of Become. The band released Waiting in the Wings in 2006. Their album Mercy Falls, released in 2008, told a narrative about a man in a coma dreaming of a place called Mercy Falls. In 2016, the band signed with Frontiers Records and released their live album Welcome to Atlanta Live 2014. Seventh Wonder's concept album Tiara was released in 2018, followed by The Testament in 2022. Tommy Karevik announced his departure from the group in June 2023.
